About the Role
Join our team to lead translational research and product development across biomedical engineering, regenerative medicine, microfluidics, optical instrumentation, automation, flow cytometry, hydrogels, stem cell culture, and tissue engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Improve microfluidic and flow-cell sorters, droplet-based systems, and optical/PMT cytometry platforms.
Develop AI-assisted algorithms and image analysis for flow cytometry.
Support design and optimization of bioreactors, imagers, and cell-culture devices.
Develop tissue engineering assays; perform 3D bioprinting and stem cell culture/characterization.
Analyze data, maintain lab notebooks, and prepare charts, graphs, and presentations.
Assist with grant and funding applications; represent the company at conferences; collaborate with academic and industry partners.
Supervise scientists and research assistants; manage lab inventory and upkeep.
Qualifications
PhD in Biophysics, Chemistry, Cell Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Microfluidics/Optical Engineering, or related field.
2+ years lab experience in biophysics, biomedical engineering, stem cells, or related area preferred.
Experience with flow cytometry, cell culture, tissue engineering, microscopy, molecular biology, and image analysis.
Strong quantitative and data analysis skills.
Proficient written and spoken English; Mandarin and Cantonese preferred.
Desired Skills
Programming in C++ or Python; machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and AI image acquisition.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: HK$35,000–41,000/month, commensurate with experience
